Danielle Bike RidingI’m Danielle, a native of the USA, and I help people across the globe connect through language. As a writer, blogger, virtual assistant and creator of https://thetasteteam.com, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with a wide variety of people while doing what I’m truly passionate about. All of these have brought me to this point of helping you develop your English language skills through writing and conversation.

A little more of my story…

I have a background in political science, sociology, and business administration. At the University of South Alabama and the University of Phoenix, I obtained my Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration. For the first two years of college, I tutored English to earn extra money while in school. I’ve also always had my greatest strengths in English and Literature.

Much of my professional background is in finance since I spent a lot of time in the industry after college. I worked for an automobile finance company that was the sister company for Southeast Toyota. The experience with this company was rewarding, educational, and emotionally draining at the same time. Wanting more control over my earning potential and schedule, I moved on to become a financial professional with New York Life.

Each of these companies is where I spent the longest time in the traditional workforce. I credit them both with helping me realize making my own way as an entrepreneur was the route I should take. These corporate experiences gave me the tools and development I needed to do exactly that. While I enjoyed finance, I wanted to discover more things and activities I would be passionate about.

Besides writing, I enjoy the beach, the health food store, movies, eating cupcakes and watching sports. I also love traveling and trying new foods, which is what my travel blog is based on. Operating the blog has granted me so many opportunities and allowed me to learn so many skills. I’ve learned so much about photography, video, social media, and web building. Starting a business with limited resources caused me to pushed myself to a level that I probably wouldn’t have had I remained an employee. Most important, I never would have had the chance to meet so many awesome people like you!

I take teaching seriously, but help you enjoy learning at the same time. My tutoring approach is patient and gentle. I’ll praise you and give constructive feedback as you make progress. We can work together to discuss what you want to accomplish and set goals to do so. I’m excited about helping you learn and grow to expand your English vocabulary and become a fluent speaker. I can’t wait to learn more about you and what we have in common!
